The idea was conceived by Kelley Bell and Nicole Shiflet as a brainstorm of crazy, fun, and distracting projects during graduate school. Upon completion of school and receiving their MFAs, the project was finally able to take shape.
Friends and colleagues were asked to submit original sounds recordings that they were interested in seeing take on a visual life. From those sounds, Kelley and Nicole plan to respond through animation. Some animations will be individual efforts while others are collaborations between both Kelley and Nicole.
Upon completion a DVD will be put together of all the work.
